Using Commission Paychecks Reports

Track and manage issued commission paychecks with visibility for both sales reps and administrators in MediaOS.

Why Use the Paychecks Report #

The Commission Paychecks Report in MediaOS provides a centralized view of all commission payments issued to sales users. It allows both individual sales reps and leadership teams to view detailed breakdowns of paid line items, validate earnings, and manage corrections when needed. This tool ensures transparency and simplifies commission reconciliation across your team.

Note: For guidance on creating or issuing commission paychecks, see the related article on Processing Commission Paychecks.

Viewing Paychecks as an Administrator, Sales Manager, or Accounting User #

To access the report, start by selecting Accounting from the left-hand navigation panel. Once on the Accounting page, click the Commissions tab at the top, then select Paychecks.

By default, the page displays all paychecks issued in the current year-to-date. You can apply filters to narrow your view based on specific date ranges or user selections to focus on particular team members or time periods.

Next to each paycheck, you’ll find a Report button. Clicking this provides a detailed breakdown of the line items tied to that paycheck, including which products were sold and the amounts earned.

If you identify an issue with a paycheck—for example, an overpayment or incorrect line item—you can use the Delete button to remove the paycheck. This allows you to correct any errors and reissue the payment accurately.

Viewing Paychecks as a Sales Rep #

Sales users can also access their paycheck history by selecting Accounting from the navigation panel, then clicking on the Commissions tab and opening the Paychecks section.

Just like admin users, reps will see a year-to-date view of all commission payments issued to them. They can apply filters to view paychecks for a specific time frame. However, sales users can only view their own paychecks—they will not have access to other team members’ earnings.

Clicking the Report button next to a paycheck will display a breakdown of which invoice line items contributed to that payout, giving reps full visibility into what they’ve earned and why.

Tip: Encourage reps to use this report regularly to track progress, clarify payment questions, and avoid misunderstandings around commission totals.
