Why can’t I find an ad I already placed on the flat plan?
I Placed an Ad on the Flat Plan, but Now I Can’t Find It—Where Did It Go? #
If an ad seems to have disappeared from your flat plan layout, it’s usually because another ad has been placed over it. In MediaOS, overlapping ads on the same page can obscure each other, making it appear as if one has vanished when it’s simply layered beneath another.
To recover the hidden ad, start by going to the Delivery tab and locating the line item in question. Use the filters for Product, Issue, or Account Name to help narrow your search. Once you find the correct item, click View to open the Line Item Details Panel on the right side of the screen.
Scroll to the Delivery section in the panel. This will show the page number of the flat plan where the ad is currently placed. After noting this, close the panel.
Next, click on the Flat Plan tab at the top of your screen and select the appropriate Product and Issue. Navigate to the page number from earlier and click on the gray bar beneath the page to open the Page Details View.
You’ll see a list of all ads assigned to that page. Locate your ad in the list and confirm its identity by checking the line item name and associated account. Then, click Remove from Page to unassign the ad. This will return the ad to the Ads panel on the left side of the flat plan, where it can be placed again on a different page.
Tip: To avoid overlapping ads, use the Pin feature or toggle Ad Image visibility from the Flat Plan toolbar to better monitor asset placements as you work.
