Widgets on the Invoice Page

Get a real-time snapshot of financial performance with invoice and payment insights displayed at the top of the MediaOS Invoices page.

What Are Invoice Page Widgets? #

At the top of the Invoices page in MediaOS, you’ll see a series of data widgets that give you an immediate overview of your invoice performance. These widgets break down key billing metrics—such as outstanding balances and recent payments—into easy-to-read visuals that help you monitor financial health at a glance.

Accessing the Widgets #

To view the widgets, click Accounting from the left-hand navigation panel. Once on the Invoices page, you’ll see the widgets displayed just above the invoice table.

Unpaid Balance Overview #

The first widget on the left displays your invoice aging data.

At the top of the widget, the large number represents the total unpaid balance from all invoices generated within the last 365 days, regardless of whether they are currently due.

Directly below, you’ll see two smaller values on either side of a horizontal bar graph. The left number shows the unpaid balance for invoices that are due or past due, and it’s visually represented by the yellow section in the bar. The right number indicates the unpaid balance for invoices that are not yet due, represented in gray on the graph.

Payments Overview #

The second widget displays data related to payment activity over the past month.

At the top, you’ll see the total amount of payments collected in the last 30 days. Below, the left side shows the Applied payments—these are payments that have been officially assigned to specific invoices—and this number is reflected by the green section in the bar graph.

On the right side, you’ll see the total of unapplied payments, which represent payments that have been received but are not yet tied to a particular invoice. This number is displayed in blue on the bar graph.

Tip: Unapplied payments can be assigned manually using the Apply Payment feature. Learn more about applying payments here.

Statement Tools and Past Due Summary #

To the right of the graphs, you’ll see an orange button labeled Send Statements. This tool allows you to send bulk statements to clients for open or overdue invoices. Click here to learn more about creating and sending statements.

Just below the Send Statements button, you’ll find a summary that displays the total balance of unpaid invoices that are past due, regardless of their creation date. This is a valuable metric for assessing overall aging risk and prioritizing follow-up efforts.
