Accessing Your Personal Settings

Personalize your MediaOS experience by updating contact information, managing email tools, and setting system preferences—all from your personal settings panel.

Why Update Personal Settings? #

Your Personal Settings are the foundation of your MediaOS experience. From connecting your email to creating an email signature, this panel allows you to manage key elements that impact communication, branding, and workflow. Whether you're just getting started or managing your system preferences, this is the first place to go.

How to Access Personal Settings #

To get started, log in to MediaOS at app.mediaos.com. If you’re unsure of your login information, reach out to your team lead or administrator.

Once logged in, click on your name and avatar in the bottom-left corner of the screen, then select Personal Settings.

Profile Settings #

In the Profile Settings section, you can update your personal information and customize how MediaOS displays system elements.

Make sure your first and last name are correct, then confirm your time zone to ensure scheduling and timestamps align with your local time. You can also adjust the system font size to suit your preference and reset your password if needed.

Once all changes are made, click Save to apply your updates.

Email Signature #

Use the Email Signature field to enter a custom signature that will appear on all outgoing emails sent through MediaOS. You can enter either plain text or HTML.

If you're using HTML, click the Validate Email Signature HTML button to check for issues and preview the signature before saving. Once you're satisfied with how it appears, click Save to finalize.

Tip: Validate your HTML signature before saving to avoid formatting issues in different email clients.

Contract Template #

If your organization uses multiple brands or markets, you may see several contract or invoice templates available. These are managed at the account level.

In the Contract Template section, fill in the Proposal/Contract Contact Info field. This contact information will appear in the top-right corner of any contracts you generate in MediaOS.

Note: If you require additional branded templates, contact your system administrator.

Email Templates #

Email templates help you save time by allowing you to create and reuse pre-written messages for common client interactions.

To create a new template, click New Template in the top-right corner. Enter a title, decide whether the template should be shared with other users, then add a subject line and the body content of the message. Once complete, click Save.

Your saved templates will now be available any time you're composing an email in MediaOS.

Email Accounts #

To connect your email to MediaOS, navigate to the Email Accounts tab in the top-left of the settings screen. This integration allows you to send and receive emails directly within MediaOS while syncing with your external email platform (like Gmail or Office 365).

Click + Email Account and follow the prompts to log into your email provider. When prompted, click Allow to authorize nylas.com, the secure third-party vendor used for email integration.

If you use Google GSuite, your system administrator may need to complete the GSuite setup steps provided in the top-right of the page before your account can connect.

Once connected, your email will appear with a connection status indicator. If you experience any issues with email delivery or syncing, return to this page to reconnect your account.
