Personal Settings Overview

Customize your MediaOS account with personal details, email setup, branded signatures, and template preferences—all from your Personal Settings dashboard.

Why Use Personal Settings? #

The Personal Settings section of MediaOS gives you full control over how your user profile functions and appears. From uploading your photo and syncing your email to configuring your contract templates and setting up a professional signature, these tabs help tailor the platform to fit your role and brand.

Accessing Your Personal Settings #

To open your settings, click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen and select Personal Settings. You’ll be presented with five main tabs across the top: Profile, Signature, Contract Template, Email Templates, and Email Accounts. Each of these tabs helps you manage a different aspect of your MediaOS user experience.

The Profile Tab #

Under the Profile tab, you can update your first and last name, upload a profile photo, and confirm your time zone to ensure scheduled tasks align with your local system time. You can also adjust font size for readability and change your password at any time.

Tip: Keeping your time zone and system settings aligned helps prevent confusion around delivery schedules and task deadlines.

The Signature Tab #

The Signature tab is where you format your outgoing emails and configure your default contact details for contracts. You can add a custom email signature by copying and pasting valid HTML into the signature field. We recommend using a generator such as HubSpot’s Email Signature Generator to ensure compatibility.

You can also configure the Default Contract Header with your personal contact information, which appears at the top right of any contracts or proposals you send. Additional fields include the Top Line for adding a message above the mailing label and the option to enable the Daily Email Digest, which delivers a summary of email activity to your inbox each morning.

Note: HTML email signatures must be fully valid to display correctly across devices. Use the W3C HTML Validator to check your code before saving. Invalid code will be cleaned automatically when uploaded.

Personalizing Contract Templates #

If your organization uses branded or regional contract templates, you can personalize your experience in the Contract Template tab. During onboarding, your administrator may have created one or more templates for different teams or brands. Here, you can select a default template and enter your contract header information, which will appear on all proposals and contracts sent from your account.

If you don’t see a template that fits your needs, contact your administrator to request additional options.

Personalizing Your Email Accounts #

To send and receive emails within MediaOS, you’ll need to connect your account through the Email Accounts tab. Start by clicking + Email Account, then enter the address you’d like to use and select your provider from the list. If you don’t see it initially, click Other Providers, or choose See All Providers for additional options.

Follow the prompts to complete the integration. You’ll be asked to authorize MediaOS via Nylas, our secure third-party integration service. Click Allow when prompted. Once approved, your email will sync with MediaOS, and you’ll see your connection status reflected on the page.
