Updating Commissions on Invoices

Updating commissions on invoices is quick and easy, and ensures that payout calculations remain accurate and aligned with your latest compensation structure. When you make changes to a Commission Table—whether it’s adjusting rates, modifying reps, or changing qualification rules—those updates do not automatically reflect on existing invoices. To apply the most current commission logic, you’ll need to manually refresh the invoice's commission data.

How to Refresh Commissions on an Invoice #

Start by opening the invoice that needs to reflect the updated commission rules. Once the Invoice Details Panel is visible, scroll down to the Commissions section.

Click the Update Commissions button. MediaOS will immediately pull the most recent commission settings from your updated tables and recalculate the earnings displayed on the invoice. The changes will be applied to each line item as needed, ensuring totals are consistent with your active policies.

Tip: Always update commissions after making changes to your tables, especially before issuing paychecks or finalizing payout reports.
