Call Tracking

Part of the MediaOS mission is to provide analytics for every single thing that you sell. We’ve made it simple for you to set up a phone number that records conversations, tracks data and is perfect for print ads, billboards and even digital ads. Read below to learn how to set up call tracking.

  1. Login to mediaOS website
    • If you don’t know your login information, reach out to your leadership
  2. Click on the Delivery icon on the left sidebar.
    • You will be redirected to a page with several tabs at the top: Line Items, Requests, Content, Flat Plan, Ad Server, Social, Studio, Distribution.
  3. Confirm you are looking at the Line Item page.
  4. Then select the View by item you want to work with. A dialog box will open.
  5. Scroll down until you will see a box labeled Call Tracking Analytics.
  6. Select the Set Up Phone Number tab.
  7. Type in your area code in the indicated field
  8. Then select an available phone number from the dropdown menu. 
  9. Type the number of months you want to purchase the phone number for in the Auto Delete After box. Best practice is to extend this amount of time.
  10. Type the forwarding phone number (phone number where you want the calls to be sent) in the box labeled Send Caller to Phone Number.
  11. Click the blue Purchase and Confirm the additional charges to your meidaOS account.
    • Keep in mind, when someone dials the phone number you purchase, it will automatically record the conversation. It will announce that it’s recording so that the caller is aware.
    • In addition to recording the entire conversation, this special phone number will track:
      • The duration of calls
      • The number of calls
