In MediaOS, contract line items allow you to apply fees and discounts directly to your contracts, ensuring accurate pricing and financial tracking. By adding line items, you can break down costs clearly, streamline invoicing, and maintain transparency with advertisers. This helps prevent pricing errors, simplifies contract management, and ensures all charges are properly accounted for in your agreements.
How to Apply Contract Line Items in MediaOS #
- Create a new contract.
- Fill out information prompts in designated fields.
- When you are specifying the details of the contract, i.e. filling out Issue, Unit and Section information, click the tab on the right side of the page labeled Add Fees/Discounts.
- A box will appear below and you will Select the line item from the drop down. Your contract line item will appear in the box as whatever you labeled it.
- Click on your contract line item.
- Specify the cost of the fee in the indicated area.
- Click the orange tab Add One Item.
- The fee will show up on the contract.
