Setting up your products in MediaOS is one of the most essential first steps to successfully launching your account. Products define what your business sells—from ad space and digital placements to event sponsorships—and form the backbone of your entire sales process. They power everything from proposals and bookings to billing and reporting, making it crucial to configure them from the outset. Without properly defined products, your team won’t be able to execute key workflows, so setting them up early ensures a seamless and productive experience across your MediaOS platform.

Note: A Product is the item you're selling. A Product Type defines how it functions in terms of scheduling, billing, and delivery. Learn more here: Understanding Product Types

Adding a New Product #

To create a new product in your MediaOS system:

Follow these steps to easily create and configure a new product in MediaOS:

Navigate to the Products Tab
Click the Products tab in the left-hand navigation menu to access the Products page.

Click the + Product Button
At the top of the page, click the + Product button to open the product creation dialog box.

Enter Your Product Name
Fill in the Product Name field with a clear and descriptive title for your new product.

Select or Create a Product Type
In the Product Type field, choose an existing type from the dropdown menu or create a new Product Type that aligns with your specific offering. If you are not sure what product type you will need click here to learn more.
