Ad Server Settings

Control how your ads rotate, manage assigned products, and fine-tune your ad server configurations within MediaOS to optimize delivery and reporting.

Accessing the Ad Server Settings #

To access the ad server settings, start by clicking on the Websites tab located in the left-hand navigation menu. Once you are on the Websites page, look for the orange Manage Settings button near the top of the screen and click it. This will open a secondary menu with several configuration tabs, including Websites, Store, Ad Server, Lists, Pop-Ups, Directory, Events, and Voting Analytics.

For now, focus on the Ad Server tab, which houses all the essential controls related to ad delivery on your connected websites

Configuring the Ad Server #

Inside the Ad Server tab, you can control which products are eligible to be sold and delivered through the MediaOS Ad Server. Clicking the Assigned Products dropdown will display all products currently compatible with the ad server. You can also manage these products from the Products section of MediaOS if additional adjustments are needed. To be eligible for ad server assignment, a product must meet three specific criteria: it must be time-based, have a scheduler attached, and include inventory for tracking and availability management.

In addition to assigning products, you can set how frequently ads rotate using the Change Ads Every X Seconds field. This setting allows you to control the interval at which ads refresh on your site, similar to how electronic billboards rotate ads at a steady rhythm. By adjusting this field, you can keep your ad placements dynamic and ensure maximum exposure for your advertisers.
