MediaOS makes it easy to manage, monitor, and adjust your email campaigns from a centralized dashboard. Whether you're reviewing metrics, updating templates, or pausing a scheduled campaign, the system gives you complete control over your outreach strategy.
Accessing Your Email Campaigns #
To view and manage your email campaigns, click the Marketing tab in the left-hand navigation menu. This will bring up a list of all current campaigns, organized by status—In Queue, Pending, or Sent. Each campaign listed will show a Manage button on the right-hand side. Click Manage next to the campaign you’d like to update.
If a campaign is marked as In Queue, it means MediaOS has already started preparing the email in advance. The system begins building campaigns approximately 12 hours before the scheduled send time—typically around 9 AM. This prebuild ensures the email can go out instantly at its scheduled time. However, it also means that once a campaign enters the In Queue status, the template can no longer be edited. At this point, the content is locked in and the email is prepped for delivery.
Editing or Controlling a Campaign #
Once you're on the campaign’s management screen, you’ll see a set of controls in the upper-right corner. These include Edit, Preview, Clone, Pause, and Cancel.
Clicking Edit allows you to modify the campaign’s name, email template, send details, and schedule. Be aware that any changes you make to the Template Sending Details will apply to all future campaigns using that same template. This global update ensures consistency but should be used carefully.
Use Preview to view the campaign before it’s sent. This lets you double-check layout, links, and content formatting in advance.
Clicking Clone creates an exact copy of the campaign. This is helpful when you want to duplicate a successful campaign and use it as a base for another.
The Pause function attempts to stop a campaign that is queued for delivery. If the campaign has already started sending, Pause will stop any remaining emails from going out. However, it cannot retroactively recall emails that have already been sent. Because of this, the Pause action is most reliable before the scheduled send time begins.
Selecting Cancel will attempt to stop the campaign entirely, whether it's queued or partially delivered. If the campaign is within 10 minutes of its send time or has already started processing, cancellation is not guaranteed.
Viewing the Activity Log #
The Activity tab helps you track what MediaOS is doing behind the scenes. To access it, go to the Marketing tab and click Manage on the campaign you’d like to review. Scroll to the Activity section at the bottom of the page. Here, you’ll find a log of every action MediaOS has taken related to the campaign—from when it was built, to any resets, errors, or triggered updates.
This view is especially useful for troubleshooting campaign performance or understanding how your send timeline is progressing.
Reviewing Campaign Metrics #
To analyze how your campaign performed, return to the Marketing tab and click Manage on the campaign you’d like to review. The metrics dashboard will display key insights, including unsubscribe rates, open rates, click-through rates, and both unique and total clicks or opens.
Keep in mind that any opens or clicks detected within the first 60 seconds of delivery are filtered out, as these are typically flagged as bot activity.
Scroll further down to the Reports section to explore detailed metrics like Activity, All Recipients, Spam, and Blocks. Please note that spam and block reports are only generated if your campaign is sent to a contact’s individual email address—not just a general account email. Sending to named contacts ensures deliverability data is captured correctly.
