Sales reports are the foundation of strategic decision-making. These reports go beyond static numbers—they reveal what’s working, what needs improvement, and where your next opportunity lies.

With MediaOS, sales managers can understand performance across every level, from individual reps to full teams, campaigns, and product lines. These tools also help identify patterns in deal flow, track sales cycle velocity, highlight top performers, and bring measurable visibility to coaching conversations. The result? More consistent performance, stronger accountability, and greater momentum across your sales pipeline.

Accessing Sales Reports #

To begin, click on Reports in the left-hand navigation bar. From the Reports screen, scroll down to the Sales Management section. This area includes all of the key reporting tools needed to track performance, activity, and revenue movement across your team and your entire pipeline.

Note: Some reports may require certain permissions. Contact your MediaOS admin if you don’t see the Sales Management section.

Recommended Sales Reports #

Each report in the Sales Management suite provides a unique lens into sales activity and performance. Below are three of the most powerful and widely used reports to include in your regular review process.

Product Sales Summary & Analysis #

Best for: Deep analysis of what’s selling, who’s selling it, and where growth is emerging.

This dynamic report uses pivot table functionality, giving you the flexibility to group and filter data in ways that match your goals. You can define your columns using the Header Column (e.g., by rep, product, client, or time period), and your rows using the Left Side Primary (e.g., by product type, campaign, or client). The report instantly recalculates totals and trends based on your inputs.

Use this report to evaluate product performance by region or team, identify seasonal patterns in buying behavior, and compare sales rep effectiveness by product category. When you've configured a view you want to revisit, click Save Search in the top-right corner for future access.

Tip: Want to save a favorite view? Use the Save Search option at the top right for easy access later.

Activity Summary Report #

Best for: Monitoring outreach levels and assessing team engagement.

This high-level report provides a concise summary of each rep’s activity within a given timeframe. You'll be able to view total counts for emails, calls, meetings, completed follow-ups, and tasks. It’s an ideal report for performance check-ins, setting benchmarks, or reviewing team-wide outreach trends.

Use the Activity Summary Report to compare output across reps, assess week-over-week or month-over-month engagement, and surface early indicators of underperformance or burnout.

Note: This is a high-level summary. For full details on individual activities, use the Activity List report (see below).

Activity List Report #

Best for: Gaining complete transparency into every logged sales action.

The Activity List Report offers a granular record of all rep activity across your sales team. It includes detailed logs of emails, calls, meetings, tasks, discussions, and notes, all sortable and filterable by rep, client, date, and activity type.

This report is particularly useful for auditing rep performance, supporting coaching sessions, or reviewing engagement history with a specific account. You can also access the Activity List directly from the Sales Reports section if you're already working within that category.

Tip: You can also find the Activity List under the Sales report section for quicker access if you’re already working in that category.

Connect Reports to Dashboards #

To make the most of your reporting, any of the above reports can be added as Dashboard Widgets for real-time visibility. This feature lets you track rep activity, sales progress, or outreach trends directly from your dashboard—no need to re-run reports every time you want an update.

By integrating Sales Reports into dashboards, you can quickly scan performance, identify bottlenecks, and share visual updates with leadership or other departments in just a few clicks.
