Content Aggregation

MediaOS Content Aggregation helps you keep your website current without constantly creating new content. By pulling in high-quality stories from trusted sources, you can supplement your original publishing strategy, support key topics, and ensure your site stays active and engaging—even when your internal bandwidth is limited. This feature is perfect for filling content gaps, building topical authority, and enhancing the value of your brand’s online presence.

Accessing the Aggregation Tools #

Content aggregation is managed in a dedicated section of the platform, separate from the Content for Delivery area. To access the aggregation tools, log in to your MediaOS Dashboard, navigate to Websites > Content, and click the Manage Sources tab to begin.

Adding and Approving Sources #

To start pulling in external content, you'll need to add and approve your sources. Begin by clicking Add New Source, then fill in the required fields, including the Source Name (such as a news site or industry blog), an optional Source Logo, and the Content Feed URL in RSS or another supported format. If the feed is behind a paywall, be sure to follow the login instructions provided. Once everything is entered, click Save to finish adding the source.

Reviewing and Approving Content #

Once your sources are added, you can begin reviewing the content they deliver by navigating to the Pending Content section. Here, you’ll find a stream of articles and stories pulled in from your connected feeds. Use the AI-generated excerpts to quickly evaluate each piece, then approve or reject items based on whether they align with your brand and audience. Approved content becomes eligible for embedding directly on your site.

Embedding Content on Your Site #

MediaOS makes it simple to display approved articles directly on your website. To embed content, go to the Content Embedding section and copy the drop-in embed code for the article you want to share. Paste the code into your site’s content area or specific article page, then click Save and publish your changes. The content will appear live on your site with full attribution included.

Customizing Your Content Feed #

You can control how aggregated stories appear on your site using MediaOS’s customization tools. Start by opening the Content Feed Settings page, where you can configure display options such as categories (like News, Technology, or Sports) and apply filters based on date range, keywords, or source types. Adjust these settings to align with your brand’s focus and tone, then click Save Changes to update how your feed is displayed.

Tip: Use aggregated content to complement your original work, fill publishing gaps, or support key themes on your site.
