Getting Started with the MediaOS Community Forums #
1. Log in to MediaOS #
To log in to MediaOS, navigate to the MediaOS login page, enter your username and password, and click Sign In to access your account.
2. Go to Websites #
Once you’re logged in, locate the Websites section in the main navigation menu and click on Websites to continue.
3. Select Forums #
Within the Websites section, click on Forums, then select your website from the dropdown menu to access and manage your forum settings.
4. Create a New Group #
Click the +Group button to start creating a new forum group.
5. Configure Group Settings #
To configure your forum group settings, start by entering a Group Name and a brief Group Description that explains the purpose of the group. Next, set the Visibility to either Private (only invited users can see and join) or Public (anyone can view and join). Choose a Join Method such as Private, Public, or Invite, depending on how you want members to join. Define Content Visibility by selecting whether posts are visible to Members Only or Public. If desired, you can also enable Slack Integration for real-time notifications and cross-platform discussion.
6. Save and Access the Community Forums #
Click Save to finalize your forum group setup. To access your newly created forum, head to the MediaOS Community Forums section. Joining the community gives you access to valuable connections, insights, and tools designed to help you thrive in the digital publishing space.
