MediaOS pipelines and workflows are powerful tools that let you visualize your sales process, manage client journeys, and leverage automation—all in one streamlined system. Whether you're managing leads, tracking ad collection, or handling renewals, pipelines in MediaOS allow you to customize stages, assign statuses, and trigger automated actions that boost productivity and reduce manual work.
How to Set Up Pipelines in MediaOS #
Setting up your pipeline is the first step toward automation. Here's how to create and manage pipelines in MediaOS:
- Click Automations on the left hand menu.
- Click Pipelines in the top menu.
- Select the type of pipeline of your choice on the menu just below.
- Under Select Pipeline, you can filter between the pipelines you want to set up. Examples of different pipeline categories are Accounts, Agencies, Contact, Contracts, Deal, Content, Line Items, Request, Invoice, Members, Memberships, Payment, Task and finally Products.
- Here you’ll find a list of all your pipeline statuses for that specific pipeline. You can use these to build out exactly how your sales process works. Below are some suggestions for common pipeline statuses:
- Suggestions for Accounts pipeline statuses: Currently Advertising, Up for Renewal, First Call, Warm, Qualified, Sold, Cold, Opportunity, Interested, Proposal are the statues we recommend using.
- Suggestions for Contract pipeline statuses: Up for Renewal, Active Negotiation, Non Renewed, Renewed.
- At any point, you can assign an to one of these statuses by going to the corresponding area i.e. if you are in the sales page you can add a pipeline status to the contracts.
Tying Automations/Workflows to Pipeline Statuses #
Note :You can tie automations and workflows to individual pipeline statuses.
- Click Automations on the left hand menu.
- Click Pipelines in the top menu.
- Select which pipeline you want to use on the dropdown menu.
- In the drop down menu under Select Pipeline, choose the pipeline you want to set automations for.
- Click Automation in the menu below the drop down. Below, you’ll see a grid with each of the statuses for that pipeline listed out.
- Click Create Workflow under the status you want to edit to add an automation.
Other Recommendations for Using Pipelines #
MediaOS suggests adding a pipeline for your ad collection process so you can know at any point the status of that ad. To do this, follow these steps:
Creating Your Ad Collection Pipeline.
- Click Automations on the left hand menu.
- Click Pipelines in the top menu.
- Select Line Item on the menu just below.
- Create your Ad Collection Pipeline by clicking + New Pipeline.
- Name your pipeline in the box that appears.
- Click Save.
Creating Statuses for Your Ad Collection Pipeline.
- Click + Add Pipeline Status.
- Name your status and choose a color for it.
- Click Save.
- Tip: Common Ad Collection Pipeline Statuses: Order Placed, Ad Materials Collected, Ad Materials Needed, Send for Internal Design, Client Approval Pending, and Approved.
