Often, leads and accounts in MediaOS can be confused. Read below to understand the difference and how a lead can become an account.
What a LEAD Is:
A lead in MediaOS is defined as any potential business that a sales rep is prospecting. A lead will not have any signed contracts nor will it have any accounting history.
What an ACCOUNT Is:
An account is created when a lead’s proposal is set to won in the system.
An electronic signature will automatically set the contract to won. Users can also manually set the contract to won to convert a lead to an account.
It is important to note that once a lead is converted to an account, it can not be undone. Meaning, an account can not become a lead.
