MediaOS by default generates the line item descriptions of products you sell on proposals. We realize this does not always meet the needs during the sales process. You can enable a custom line item description that allows sales reps to override our default descriptions.
Enabling Custom Line Item Descriptions
Note: The following steps are only available to Administrators. If you are not an Administrator, proceed to step 5.
- Select your profile avatar in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
- Click System Settings from the dropdown.
- Click General Settings.
- Scroll to the Contracts sections and toggle the Custom Line Item Descriptions setting on.
- After activation, you will see the Custom Line Item Field when adding line items to the proposal.
- Select a Line Item on a contract or proposal and click Add Custom Description.
- Fill out the field and hit save. The line item on this proposal will now display the custom description you provided.
