Accessing Your Personal Settings

Updating your personal settings is an important first step when getting started with MediaOS. Personal Settings allow you to customize your password, connect your email, create your email signature, and set important contact information.

Login at app.mediaos.com.

  • If you don’t know your login information, reach out to your leadership.
  • Click on your name and avatar in the bottom-left of the screen and click on Personal Settings

Profile Settings  #

  1. Update your first and last name, if necessary
  2. Ensure your time zone is correct
  3. Customize the system’s font size to your preference
  4. Reset your password
  5. Hit Save

Email Signature #

  1. Use the Email Signature text field to input your signature. This field can accept plain text and HTML.
    1. If you are using HTML, please proceed to step 2. If you are not using HTML, skip to step 3.  
  2. Click the Validate Email Signature HTML button to find any discrepancies in the HTML code. You will see a preview of your signature loaded below
  3. Click the Save button when you are satisfied with your changes.

Contract Template #

Some organizations work with various brands and require multiple contract or invoice templates. You will see the various branded templates set up for your account on this screen. If your company only works with one brand or has one set of templates you will only see one row. Should you need additional templates, reach out to your administrator.

Fill out the Proposal/Contract Contact Info field. This information will appear on the top right corner of any contracts you create.

Email Templates #

Email templates allow you to create canned, reusable, messages to send to your clients and prospects, saving you the trouble of typing the same email over and over.

A. Click New Template in top, right-hand corner.

B. Name/title your email template.

C. Choose whether or not you’d like to share this template with other users.

D. Fill out a subject line.

E. Fill in the body of the email. 

F. Click Save.

Email Accounts #

Select the Email Accounts tab in the top left of the screen to connect your email. MediaOS’ email integration allows you to send and receive emails directly through the MediaOS interface. Any emails sent via MediaOS’ interface will also appear in your email sent folder. All historical emails sent or received from email contacts in your system will sync over to MediaOS and appear in the contact’s account activity feed, allowing you to easily see past conversations with your clients. The steps below will allow you to connect your email with MediaOS. 

  1. Click + Email Account in top left of screen.
  2. It will prompt you to login to your email (Gmail, Office 365, etc.)
  3. Click Allow when prompted to grant nylas.com access to your email account. Nylas is our trusted 3rd party vendor utilized for the email integration.
  4. If you use Google GSuite, your Administrator will need to complete the Google GSuite Setup found in the top right-hand corner of the page before you can connect your email account.
  5. Once connected you will see your email appear on the Email Accounts page with the status of it’s connection. Should you ever experience issues with sending emails through MediaOS, check this page and reconnect your email if necessary.
