Viewing Emails in MediaOS

Once your email account is connected to MediaOS, you can manage communications directly from your dashboard. This integration allows you to view, send, and track emails without switching between platforms, helping you work more efficiently and maintain a complete contact history inside your CRM.

Connecting Your Email Account #

Before you can view your inbox in MediaOS, you must first complete the email integration process. If you have not yet integrated your email, follow the instructions outlined in the How to Integrate Your Email article. Proper integration ensures that your inbox is accessible and fully synced with your MediaOS environment.

Accessing Your Inbox #

After your email is connected, viewing your inbox is simple. Begin by selecting the Today tab from the left-hand navigation panel. Once inside the Today dashboard, click on the Email tab to display your inbox. Your MediaOS inbox mirrors the inbox you would see in your connected email provider account, allowing you to manage messages directly from the system. From this screen, you can also compose and send emails, with every sent message syncing automatically back to your original email provider.

How Email Syncing Works with Contacts #

It is important to understand how email syncing behaves inside MediaOS. Emails will only fully sync to an account or contact if the sender or recipient is already saved as a contact in your MediaOS database. For example, if you receive an email from your grandmother, and she is not a MediaOS contact, her email will still appear in your MediaOS inbox. However, it will not be linked or logged to any account or contact history within the CRM. This rule helps maintain clean and organized communication records, focusing only on client-related interactions.
