When you realize your ads are not running correctly on your site, here are a few tips to check for a quick solution to the problem. *NOTE* Before assuming your ads are not working, make sure you wait 7 seconds as the ads are set to rotate every 7 seconds on the site.*
Make Sure Your Ads are Turned On:
First, make sure your ad placement is actually turned on. To do this, go to your site and select “Customize” through the WordPress backend. Scroll down and select “Advertisement Options” and select each option to make sure your ads are turned on in each of the different placements.
Make Sure Your Ad is Running For the Correct Date:
Another issue that could be preventing your ads from displaying on your site, is if the date was accidentally set to the wrong date. To make sure your ad is set to the correct date, you can log in to your MediaOS account, select delivery, and view the advertisement product. Under “Run Date”, you will see the date you currently have selected for that ad to run.
Ensure the URL and Size for the Ad is Set Up:
When setting up an ad, make sure you include the correct size and URL for the advertisement. To check this, go to the Line Item (under deliveries), click on the advertisement, hover over the image of the ad and select the “information” icon. There, you will see this window where you will see all of the ads information. If you find yourself needing to edit any of this information, select the “edit” button in the upper right.
Make Sure Your Ad is Set Up Under the Correct Product:
Under Delivery, you can filter by Product. Make sure the product field is correct for where you want the ad to be displaying.
