Your client's payment information can be stored on your payment processor directly through MediaOS.
Note: You must be integrated with Authorize.net or Stripe in order to save payment information through MediaOS. MediaOS does not store this data, the payment information is stored with the payment processor. Click here to learn more about integrating with Authorize.net or Stripe.
Inputting Payment Method on an Account
- Open the account of your choice and select the Accounting Tab.
- Select Manage Payment Accounts.
- Click on the +Add button
- Select the type of payment method you're adding, Bank Account or Credit Card. Note: Only MediaOS accounts integrated with Authorize.net will show these options. If you are connected to Stripe you can only save credit cards on file.
- Input the payment information and hit save.
If you have multiple payment methods saved to a single account you may choose one as the default method.
Saving Payment Methods via the Portal
You can send a secure portal link to your client to allow them to save their payment method on file. Follow the steps below to access this link.
- Open the Account of your choice
- Navigate to the Portal Links section on the bottom right of the account
- Click on the Add Payment Account Form button. This will copy the link to your clipboard.
- Paste the link into an email and send it to your client.
